Cornish holiday cottage accommodation details
Tresco was my grandparents' home. It is an attractive cottage situated about a hundred yards from the sandy beach in the village of Marazion, Cornwall. The property fronts onto a small road and it has a rear courtyard area which is sheltered and sunny with an outside table and chairs - perfect for barbecues.
Tresco has been renovated and modernised for our own family holiday use. The cottage is over three hundred years old and we have retained many original features whilst combining this with a modern fitted kitchen and a well appointed bathroom.
The accommodation consists of a spacious lounge with traditional furnishings, beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace and a woodburning stove and colour television.
The large kitchen is open planned to a dining area and has a good range of fitted units and wall cupboards as well as a microwave and washing machine.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed and the others each have two singles. There are duvets on all the beds but please bring your own linen, towels and teatowels. We have a cot available in the cottage but please provide your own cot bedding.
There are night storage heaters in the cottage for use early and late in the season.
It is worth mentioning that Tresco has a parking space which is essential if you are travelling by car.
